  It was awful. For me, one of the worst dining experiences ever. Although the greeter and one waiter were polite, the wait time for service and the food itself was simply awful. I was greeted by a very polite young lady who sat me, provided a menu, and gave me water. Evidently she did not take orders of any kind, including drinks. I could tell there was only one waiter for the entire restaurant, and herein lied one of the most significant problems with this restaurant. The one waiter finally made his way over and took my drink order. When he realized the young lady did not provide me with a specials menu, he provided one. After he took my drink order he showed back up well over five minutes later to take my order. He did not have my drink order and when I asked about it he said it was on its way. I ordered the halibut chowder, a special, and a lamb gyro. The waiter left and a few minutes later returned with my drink. The food came relatively quickly after the drink was delivered. The chowder was okay, at best. Nothing special. The gyro was disgusting. It was just flat-out lousy. There was barely any meat, lettuce, tomatoe or anything in it. It was hands down the worst gyro, and worst meal, I have ever ordered. However, because I was starving after cycling all day I ate the whole thing. Then I sat at my table for what appeared to be 10 minutes watching this poor waiter attempt to attend to what was now a full restaurant. After at least 15 minutes I called the young lady over and told her I needed my check. She said it was coming shortly. It did not. I sat there and sat there until I got so fed up that I got up and tracked down the waiter and told him I needed my bill, and I needed it now. He retrieved the bill immediately and I just paid cash right then and there so I could finally get out of there. I did leave a generous tip, as I always do, but I will never go back to this place if I come back to San Juna Island.
